Enterprise IT has been the backend of the ever growing success of various businesses and enterprises. Companies and Enterprises have been using information technology very extensively. Starting from managing data and storage to analyze trends and build competencies. Cloud Computing, Big data analytics, mobile connectivity are the tools on which corporates are able to build up IT systems which are faster, more efficient and cheap to manage and operate. Due to this new revolutionary IT wave, many upcoming tech companies which are trying to challenge the present players.
New Trends to watch out for
There are some new trends observed which will impact the Enterprise IT computing:
Cloud Computing
As revealed by Morgan Stanley, almost one-third of work is now running on cloud. Cloud computing has become important for its most important feature – Ability to scale up resources for a given application without significant investment in infrastructure development.
Virtualization
Virtualization of data has been the success story as it leads different set of servers into a single pool of computing resource which can be managed on the go. IT departments have started visualization in data centers like in networking, storage and security.
Upcoming IT Buyers
IT purchase decisions have shifted from the big heads like CIOs to other department heads like marketing, sales, finance etc. This bottom-up adoption of technology in the organization renders new opportunities for IT vendors, consisting of new buyers who have now greater willingness to experiment on a considerate budget.
Rise of Online Sales
Emergence of Web-based sales has seeded the idea of reducing the sales force but still manage to build business around the online channels. This allows quick delivery to customers and forecast demand for the product.
First Try, Then Buy Model
Enterprise businesses are encouraging consumer software companies by offering them free trials and customized pricing models, which helps in customers to experiment without any heavy investment. Light version adoption, money for value, and focus on registered customers are a win-win situation for buyers as well as sellers.
Transforming Enterprise Workflows
Efficient enterprise workflows have arisen due increasing adoption of mobile devices into business. All the business processes like documentation, scheduling, optimization on mobile applications, which leads to work been done smarter and faster.

Due to mobilized business processes, security has become more important. Companies are looking forward for security against cyber threats on every level of network – from servers to end points and also at the in between nodes.

These trends are self – explanatory, telling the story of Enterprise IT driving the functioning of business. This poses a challenge as well as opportunity for IT companies to provide the supply to the growing demand of business.
